Tab oversees Liftr Insights’ overall corporate vision and strategic direction. As CEO, Tab ensures the company has the required resources to meet business and customer expectations. Liftr Insights was started on the idea of providing regular, reliable, and objective data about an otherwise opaque market: public cloud.
Tab founded Liftr Insights in 2019 after his previous company, DoubleHorn Cloud Solutions (DHCS), was acquired by a leading cloud solutions provider.
DHCS, founded in 2013, delivered cloud brokerage and professional services to public and private sector customers who were migrating and maintaining workloads across multiple cloud providers. Tab developed strong relationships between DHCS and numerous cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, Rackspace, and Alibaba Cloud. DHCS was recognized by both Gartner and Frost & Sullivan as a notable contributor to the growing cloud brokerage market.
Tab founded DoubleHorn Communications (DHC) in 2005. DHC was created to serve the small-to-medium business communications and broadband markets in the Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston (DASH) markets and built a private “full-stack” VoIP network. DHC grew to serve thousands of small business users. DHC was acquired by a publicly traded cloud communications company.
Tab began his career working as a financial analyst for NDB&T and MKP a private investment company (acquired by JLL).
Tab holds a BA in Financial Economics from Southern Methodist University.
