As an industry analyst, Paul is Liftr Insights’ resident expert for tracked services and technologies. Paul works closely with Liftr Insights’ devops, data science, marketing and sales teams to create and fulfill products and services.

Paul has been a leading data center industry analyst for eight years. He is fluent in computer architecture, artificial intelligence (AI), edge computing, and Internet of things (IoT).

Prior to Liftr Insights, Paul was a Principal Analyst at TIRIAS Research and was Senior Analyst for Moor Insights & Strategy. Paul has spoken at many industry events and is a contributing author at Forbes/Cloud and The Next Platform.

Paul was a key member of AMD’s server processor marketing team in the 2000s, where he was promoted to Marketing Fellow. As a member of the CEO’s corporate strategy group, Paul was technical and market advisor for AMD’s $334M acquisition of Seamicro in 2012.

Paul was product manager for Fracta Network’s web service at the height of the first internet bubble and was instrumental in Divine’s acquisition of Fracta Networks in 2001.

Paul holds a BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M and an MS in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business. Paul received 12 US patents while working in marketing and strategy roles.
